States of Dissolution is an ongoing visual exploration of identity, perception, and the fragile boundary between presence and disappearance.

Through a series of portraits suspended in ambiguous, atmospheric spaces, the work reflects on the instability of the human image in an era where reality, memory, and digital construction increasingly overlap. Faces emerge and dissolve, bodies blur into light, matter, and motion, suggesting a condition where identity is never fixed but constantly shifting.

The sea — at times visible, at times merely implied — becomes less a physical setting and more a psychological landscape: a space of transition, erosion, and quiet transformation.

Rather than documenting individuals, the series investigates states of being. Each image exists in tension between appearance and erasure, clarity and ambiguity, presence and absence.

States of Dissolution is not a narrative about specific subjects, but a meditation on the contemporary human condition — where the self is fluid, unstable, and perpetually in the process of becoming.
