Sacred Texture — Pomegranate - Limited edition

This artwork belongs to the series Sacred Texture — Nature, an ongoing visual research exploring the traces that time leaves on natural surfaces.

The image focuses on a pomegranate at the moment of transformation, when the fruit begins to open and reveal its interior structure. The tension of the skin, the dryness of the peel, and the exposed seeds create a landscape shaped by time and organic decay.

A translucent geometric fragment interrupts the image, isolating a portion of the natural surface and inviting a slower observation. Within this frame, textures resemble geological formations or microscopic terrains.

Through this minimal intervention, the fruit moves beyond the traditional still life and becomes a meditation on transformation, fragility, and the silent passage of time.

The Sacred Texture project investigates the “skin” of the world — human, natural, and material surfaces marked by time.
